Mr. Balasaheb Kakade – Founder and Head - Sales & Marketing

Mr. Balasaheb Kakade started RXN Chemicals with a vision to serve the pharmaceutical and related industries to provide with cost effective products and solutions, which can enable the company for timely completion of projects and achieve success. With a rich experience of 14 + years, Mr Kakade is an expert in marketing and business development in the domain of Impurities, Custom Synthesis, Pharma intermediates and APIs.

Mr. Kakade holds a Master’s degree in Medicinal Chemistry from Pune University and a MBA in International marketing from the IIPM, Pune. Mr Kakade is also one of the promoters in Anvi Pharmaceuticals, which is actively involved in the manufacture of Prostaglandin compounds.

Dr. Kundan Gupta - Technical Director

Dr. Kundan Gupta has a rich experience in research & development; process development, process scale-up in pharmaceutical and biologics. He has expertly managed assignments with premier chemistry companies in developing cost efficient and practical technologies in manufacturing high quality pharmaceutical as well as specialty chemical products.

He has a proven expertise in development of safe, manufacturing feasible process for High Value Low Volume APIs/Intermediates in oncology & prostaglandins domain. Before being a whole time director in Anvi, Dr. Gupta has worked with prime organizations like, Eisai Pharma, Apotex, and AstraZeneca since starting his career in 2003. Dr. Gupta has obtained his Masters in Organic Chemistry from Pune University and has completed his PHD from Periyar University.

Mrs. Ritu Kakade: Director

Ms. Ritu Kakade joins RXN Chemicals with a rich experience of 13 years. In her role at RXN, Ms. Kakade looks into business development, finance and administration. Ms. Kakade has been previously associated with major pharmaceutical companies such as Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd, Piramal Enterprises and Glenmark pharmaceuticals.

Academically, Ms. Kakade holds a Master’s degree in Organic chemistry from University of Burdwan, West Bengal.

Dr. S. R. Rojatkar – Scientific Advisory

Dr. Rojatkar has been a reputed scientist at National Chemical Laboratory, Pune for more than two decades. He has an extensive experience of research & development in the field of Natural Product Chemistry. His expertise includes development of extraction methods and characterization of various herbal compounds useful for medicinal purpose. He has also been involved in the impurity profiling of several synthetic and herbal APIs/Intermediates. Dr. Rojatkar has also been associated with major Indian Pharmaceutical Company such as Lupin.

Academically, Dr. Rojatkar holds a PhD in organic chemistry from National Chemical Laboratory, Pune and has done Post-Doctoral research in Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Virginia, U.S.
